I am interested in doing business with MISUMI. What do I need to do?

You first need to open an account with MISUMI. Fill in the customer registration form and fax /email it back to us, you can also call our customer service at 65-67337211 to have the form fax to you. We will start the account set-up process as soon as we receive your completed application.

How long does it take to open an account with MISUMI?

Normally it takes one day after you fax us the registration form.

How do I read your catalogs?

Go to the How to Use the Catalogs page. If the information there does not answer your question, contact our customer service staff at 65-67337211.

How can I find a particular part?
A.4  
There are three ways to look up a part in our catalogs: by product name(s) or keyword(s), by product number, and by image. If you are using our on-line catalog, type in the product name(s) or keyword(s), or MISUMI product number in the search field on the left, or click Search by Image. If you are using a printed catalog, use the index at the back of the catalog to search by description or product number, and use the picture list at the beginning of the catalog to search by image.

When can I receive the products?

Refer to our catalog, and look for a section with the Truck icon.  (Production Time).
If you are situated in Singapore, you will receive the products per the number of days shown in the catalog plus 3-4 working days after we received your PO or confirm order instruction.
However, extra days are needed if your order quantity exceeds our normal production capacity. Days are counted as work days not including the order date.
Please check the actual delivery date with our customer service staff.

Can I receive products faster than the schedules mentioned above?

Yes, you can use "Express" service in order to shorten production time but is an additional cost for using this service. For more details, please contact our customer service staff.

Can I order an item not listed in your catalogs?

I have a part number from another manufacturer. Can you cross-reference it?

We can cross-reference some items. Contact our customer service for assistance.

Do you stock items?

We do not keep stock in Singapore.

How long does it take to get quotation?

For standard MISUMI items, you will get our quotation reply on the same day if not latest by the next working day.

How do I place an order? Is there a special form to use?

You can fax us your PO but please include our quotation number if possible.
If you could not furnish us with your PO, we would request you to acknowledge your order confirmation by signing on our quotation sheet, accompanied with your company stamp and fax it back to us.

I did not get an SO Confirmation for my order. How can I make sure that my order has been processed?

You should receive your SO Confirmation within one working day of the date that you sent your PO to MISUMI. If you do not receive our SO Confirmation, please call us to find out whether the order has been received.

What kinds of products are available for purchase?

The products handled by MISUMI are listed in five catalogs: Standard Components for Press Dies, Standard Components for Plastic Molds, Mechanical Standard Components for Factory Automation, Machine Tools, and Wiring Components for Equipment. MISUMI's catalogs are free-of-charge.
